On 24th August 2025, Jaraa Social Venture provided a Green Economy and Vermi-Composting training session for the staff of Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.

This program aimed to share practical knowledge and skills that support sustainable practices along with building the capacity of staff members to convert biodegradable kitchen waste into organic compost at the source.

The session also aimed to raise awareness about how small individual actions can contribute significantly to the green economy and promote both human and environmental well-being. Vermicomposting plays an important role in reducing methane emissions and minimizing waste sent to landfills.
